Is there an expiration date for indigo&jade products?Since our products are natural the shelf life is not as long as some of the products you will find in the stores. In general our products are best used within 6 months from the date of purchase but they will last beyond this.
-
How is the quality of your products?indigo&jade is an ingredient focused skin care company. We choose each item based on the long term benefits they provide to the skin. We hand blend our products in small batches to ensure freshness, consistency and the highest quality possible. By blending in small batches indigo&jade is able to provide highly effective natural skin care. Even our dark containers are purposely used to extend shelf life naturally and protect the integrity of the ingredients. We are totally transparent about what we put into each product and the intended benefit of each ingredient. We refer to our products as skincare with a conscience and each ingredient used is dedicated to the overall health and stability of your skin.

I received my whip/butter and it's too firm/too soft/gritty. Why is that? Our products are natural and at times, there are small variations of firmness and softness. If your whip is gritty or crumbly it more than likely hardened because of cold temperatures. Likewise if your product has melted and exposed to heat. While we try to do the best we can to make sure your butter does not get too warm or cold during shipping, we have no control over the environment. Even if the texture changes the quality and healing properties remain the same. We recommend that you have your products shipped to a location where the package will be indoors and not subject to the elements. If your whip or butter has melted, let it sit in a cool area to solidify
